MACH FAB 4.0: Helping SMEs Move to Industry 4.0

What is the MACH FAB 4.0 initiative?

MACH FAB 4.0 is an initiative launched by the Quebec government under Aéro Montréal, part of the Quebec Aerospace Strategy 2016-2026.

This initiative aims to support Quebec aerospace manufacturing SMEs through their technological transition to Industry 4.0, helping drive economic growth, increase digital maturity, and strengthen autonomy.

MACH FAB 4.0 allocates a total of $19M over five (5) years, of which $9.5M comes from public funds. This will support 50 SMEs in the aerospace sector.

[1] All audits done from April 2017 onward include the 16th process*. Companies that completed their MACH audit in 2017 are therefore eligible to submit a MACH FAB 4.0 project. * If a company had its audit before April 2017, it can request an immediate audit on the 16th process (2 hours by phone) in order to submit a MACH FAB 4.0 project without waiting for the next full audit.
