Worximity Technologies is looking for an Insallation & Technical Support Specialist to accompany its clients in their 4.0 shift and ensure quality service. Reporting to the Director of Operations, the selected candidate will be responsible for product installation as well as responding to the technical requests and needs while ensuring a quality relationship with customers.
What will you be doing?
- Plan and perform installations with new customers (remote or on-site);
- Take charge of technical interventions on site with existing customers (diagnosis & upgrades);
- Configure KPIs and production lines requested in the product interface;
- Plan your own travel to customers (airfare, hotel rooms, on-site travel, etc.);
- Validate customer contact points with internal teams;
- Work in collaboration with other teams on custom projects;
- Be responsible for ongoing technical support (level 1 and 2): management of incidents, problems and service requests;
- Be responsible for complete technical support and customer satisfaction;
- Collect information to improve the technological environment or software functionalities by participating in various internal technical projects;
- Update technical documents (books, mechanical and electrical drawings, computer machine files, standard work, procedures, etc.).
The skills you’ll need to be successful at Worximity:
- Technical background in industrial electronics, computer science, telecommunications, or equivalent experience ;
- 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position;
- Knowledge of electrical, automation, computer science, and connected objects (IoT) ;
- Comfortable working outside of typical office hours (occasionally, scheduled in advance) ;
- Ability to travel to customer sites (Canada - USA) ;
- Possess a driver's license and a car;
- Excellent communication and problem solving skills;
- Fluently bilingual (French and English);
- Knowledge of Zendesk, Jira and Confluence is an asset;
- Experience on pharmaceutical, agri-food or industrial packaging lines, an asset;
- Open to discover and work with new technologies (Hololens).
