What will you be doing?

 

  • Enable team leads to focus on creating strategic solutions, delivering on these strategic solutions, collaborating with teams across the company and supporting individual technical writers on a week-to-week basis;
  • Align the team's content strategy with the customer strategy, the company's strategy, and the strategies of other teams outside of customer (e.g., onboarding content);
  • Monitor communications to stakeholders to ensure appropriate messaging, materials, and frequency;
  • Work in collaboration with internal team to customize marketing and communications campaigns for various audiences and media;
  • Work with internal and external creative agencies and suppliers to develop best-in-class collateral and publications for the department;
  • Engage with the online community on a daily basis;
  • Develop a social listening and community engagement program.
  • Work in partnership with internal teams to customize communications for various audiences and media;
  • Assist with editing internal and external communications as required;
  • Ensure all activities and materials follow brand standards and reflect consistent messaging;
  • Stay informed and current with digital trends in communications and apply those learnings to the department’s strategies;
  • Digs deep into thought-provoking questions, pain points, social-functional feelings, and objectives to choose words and graphics that resonate with Worximity clients;
  • Collaborates with Marketing and Sales teams to plan and develop content.

The skills you’ll need to be successful at Worximity:

  • Bachelor’s degree in journalism, communication or equivalent experience;
  • You are a content writer or copywriter by trade with 3+ years of professional experience and a proven track record of building audience engagement or driving customer acquisition and revenue growth;
  • You’re an exceptional communicator and team player with a talent for brainstorming, planning, collaborating, and providing feedback to key team members, including designers, freelance writers, marketing personnel, and other stakeholders;
  • Impeccable written and verbal communication skills with ability to engage and influence many stakeholders;
  • Experience in a business-minded role creating and managing online documentation;
  • You have an extremely conscientious approach to researching, editing, fact checking, and proofreading;
  • You are a proactive self-starter with a very strong work ethic, and you take true ownership of your role and responsibilities;
  • Knowledge of content, customer, or technical writing;
  • You have an eye for detail and possess impeccable standards with regards to grammar, punctuation, syntax, style, and tone;
  • Your decisions are data-driven and you’re adept with the most effective analytics, SEO, and content ideation tools;
  • Knowledge of WordPress and HubSpot;
  • Bilingual (English and French);
  • Knowledge of manufacturing production processes and continuous improvement (an asset).
